under-where:
- Food
- Health
- Family
- Friends
- No drama
- No boredom
- No judgement
Agree in part. Though I’d remove ‘no drama’ and replace with adventure…
Actually, hell, I’ll just post my ‘good stuff’ list as a comparison.
On a first great western train. They’ve added pay per view tv into all the seats. Turned mine off three times to save energy and they keep flicking it back on to advertise things at me.
Waste
Of
Energy
Can’t see anyone watching it, bit yet no one has switched off.
Though guy next to me just did … Yes to him
These people are seriously on the side of good
thanks for the follow dear. :))
You are my 60th follower! Thank you and congratulations :)
Very happy to be your 60th follower!
Living on the edge
In the last month things moved from living carefully and frugally and joyfully to just plain simple having no money.
It’s just a pinch point between having no tenants and having not sold the house. In this situation several things helped:
- following advice of a great friend to stick the room on spareroom - have a viewing tomorrow so fingers crossed. Have gone for a rock bottom price for a short term let. Was probably just being greedy before
- following my gut instinct to accept the highest offer on the house. Yes it’s not as high as some of the figures dreamed up, but it’s what someone is willing to pay and its more than we paid. Selling means I have freedom not to be ‘we’ anymore and also to takes steps into freelancing
- the co-op bank being lovely
- bins being full of free food
- work having lots of free food at training sessions
- giving myself a break from saving
- working in a company where I get a (small) share of the profit
But what I’ve realised is that when you’ve already cut back and you already live simply and you’ve already slashed your budget… There just comes a point where you’re actually just hungry and that’s an absurd place to be.

I’ve experienced this too many times
I can hear the birds busting to get going. Have a lovely day ahead so I’m busting to get going too.
Please sponsor me in The The Great Gorilla Run 2011!
Hello there, I just wanted to let you know that I am leading a team of four runners in the Great Gorilla race in September. There will be 1000 people in the race and we will all be dressed as gorillas. Thats more gorillas in London for the day than there are mountain gorillas left in the wild! With the money raised by the sponsored run it will be possible to secure more habitat and more training which will help to protect the mountain gorilla. If you are able to support our team, please do as all the proceeds go to the gorillas. Also, if we can raise £1,000 Arup - will also donate £1,000 and the government will donate £250 from my tax for me… so the gorillas will be rolling in it!! Please help if you can, and let other know about the race through facebook, twitter, linked-in and your blog etc…. Thanks so much and look forward to hearing from you. Sara I’m participating in The Great Gorilla Run 2011. You can help support me and the gorillas by making a secure online donation using your credit or debit card.
